Technology Without the Headaches

Technology is a Hassle – Do you ever feel that way? Of course, we all have. Several times in my career I’ve had the opportunity to write about technology, including a favorite article titled “Get Out of IT”!

So what did I mean? I suggested that most business owners didn’t go into their business to manage technology. But, in the blink of an eye, they owned application software, servers, networks, security systems, maintenance agreements, support staff and on and on. They found themselves responsible for back-ups, and software and hardware updates.

Whatever your situation, I recommend you get out of IT. In other words, let someone else deal with the technology responsibilities. With a little research, you’ll discover that there are reasonably priced cloud-based or hosted solutions available. If that’s not an option, then you could outsource all your equipment and support to a local company who can support you. These service providers are otherwise known as MSPs, Managed Service Providers.

The result is that you’ll enjoy the benefits of technology without dealing with the headaches, and you can go back to enjoying the business you love.
