Mike Hill
Managing Director
Mike’s consulting experience extends over 25 years with expertise in improving profitability and reducing workloads. Specialties encompass accounting, improving sales, marketing, financial management, operations, technology, talent, governance and logistics. Additional skills include acquisitions and project management.
Mike has served in a variety of leadership roles including acting Chief Executive of the Verizon Wireless spin-off companies, CEO of Woodstock Gas, National Director of Internal Consulting for Prudential and a Senior Consultant with Ernst and Young.
His love for business extends outside of work participating in business radio shows, writing articles and blogs, and mentoring future leaders. When not working, Mike enjoys reading history, teaching and golf. Mike and his wife Barbara have a blended family with five children, five spouses and eight grandchildren.
Kelly M. Smith, CPA
Director of Accounting
Kelly’s accounting and management experience extends over 25 years. She served as the CFO for Lanier Park Regional Hospital and, more recently, at Riverside Military Academy (now Riverside Preparatory Academy). Accomplishments at Riverside included refinancing $80 million in bonds and implementing major expense reductions and revenue enhancements. Kelly also built a strong financial services team with very little turnover in her last few years at Riverside.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Administration degree in accounting from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Business Administration from Brenau University.
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys reading and playing with her grandchildren and miniature Schnauzer. Kelly and her husband, Stanley, have a blended family with three children and three grandchildren. She also volunteers her time as the accountant for a new church in north Hall County.
Cnanah Ransom
Senior Consultant
Cnanah is a graduate of Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Masters in Corporate Communications. She has over 14 years in sales, marketing, management, project management, and training and development. In addition, Cnanah enjoys business development and has successfully impacted organizations with positive year over year growth.
She has experience in higher education, and the telecom and food service industries. Over the years, she has served in multiple leadership capacities including serving as a board member of the Tennessee Association of Independent Colleges and School (TAICS). This program is part of a leadership organization for the Clarksville Montgomery County School Systems. Earlier, Cnanah was also a member of Verizon Wireless Leaders.
Cnanah and her husband Aaron have 4 children, 2 dogs, 2 cats, a fish and turtle. She likes to travel, experience new things, and watch movies with her family.
Megan Woodall
Senior Consultant
Megan has enjoyed a career in Learning & Development for 11 years specializing in virtual classroom design and online e-Learning training. She has worked with small, mid-size, and large companies to customize the training experience to the business needs. She also has experience working with Instructional Design and training in healthcare, software, and recycling business.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dog. She also likes the beach, traveling, and has a passion for animals.
Barbara Schmidt
Office Manager
Barbara has over 20 years in administrative roles from customer relations to website development. Her experiences include diverse skills in administrative services, operations, marketing and technology.
Barbara’s past positions involved the architectural/engineering field at Randall-Paulson Architects and Paulson Mitchell Incorporated, as well as medical customer relations at Matria Health Services and front desk management at LasikPlus.
Barbara and her husband Mike have 9 adult and in-law children and 8 grandchildren.
Outside of work, Barbara enjoys photography, gardening and just working outside. Also, she loves spending time keeping up with their large extended families at weddings and other gatherings.
